This company is toast, unless they can reinvent themselves with the Apple owned Foundation DB as the underlying data structure, but that would likely break any legacy compatibility. What was their other recent disaster? Oh right, Bento. In my opinion, Filemaker is all but dead as well. He can't get anyone to work on it now because Coldfusion is obsolete. I have a friend who is in the same situation with a complex Coldfusion application from the early 2000s. If you want to be successful, you need to go with mainstream software and tools where help is just a phone call away. Small business owners don't have the time to build their own apps. They claim it's for small companies without an IT department, but you are certainly not doing yourself any favors by locking yourself into a backwards proprietary application with virtually no support from outside IT professionals. It seems really outdated with either Windows ODBC/JDBC drivers or on the Mac with some other third party drivers needed to connect to "real" databases. I don't know why anyone other than current users would consider this software solution. Sync Amazon Redshift or DynamoDB with FileMaker. MirrorSync supports syncing between any of the following: - Sync FileMaker Go or FileMaker Pro with FileMaker Server. I like FileMaker but their pricing is getting out of controller. It can also be used to cluster and load balance between FileMaker Servers.
